Ant Control

Are you tired of seeing ants marching through your home or business? Do you cringe at the thought of an ant infestation ruining your reputation as a clean and reliable establishment? Whether you're a home or business owner, ants can be a persistent and frustrating problem. Here at SPC, we understand the frustration that comes with pests invading your home. That's why we’re dedicated to providing our neighbors with reliable and effective ant control services to eliminate these unwanted visitors quickly.

Reliable Ant Control

Every ant infestation is unique, so we take a customized approach to treatment for all of our customers. Our certified technicians will conduct a thorough inspection of your home or business to identify the type of ant and the extent of the infestation. Based on their findings, they will develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs.

We typically use a combination of baits, sprays, and dusts to remove ant infestations. Our baits are specially formulated to attract ants and deliver a lethal dose of pesticide back to the colony, which will eliminate the entire population. We also use targeted sprays and dusts to treat specific areas where ants are entering the building or where baits are not effective. All of our pet-friendly products are odor and residue-free.

While there are thousands of species of ants, two of the most common culprits that invade homes and businesses are carpenter and pavement ants.

Carpenter Ants

Carpenter ants are large, black ants that range from ¼ to ½ inch long. While these ants do not actually eat wood, they do damage it by tunneling through it to create nests. They prefer to nest in moist or decaying wood, which is why it's essential to repair any water damage on your residential or commercial property. Signs of a carpenter ant infestation include sawdust-like debris, rustling sounds inside walls or woodwork, and the presence of winged ants.

Pavement Ants

Pavement ants are small, dark brown or black ants that are about ⅛ inch long. These ants are attracted to sugary foods and can infest kitchens, pantries, and other areas where food is stored. Pavement ants are named for their habit of nesting under pavement, in cracks in the ground, under stones, or in the soil near buildings. Signs of a pavement ant infestation include small piles of dirt or sand near cracks in the foundation or pavement and the presence of many worker ants.
